Golf Shop News, November 8th
Bronson, you will be missed…
During your time at Lookout Point we are sure you have gotten to know Bronson, Aldo’s Chocolate Lab. Bronson was a fixture here at the course and a friend to all. In 2011, Bronson was voted as “Dog of the Year” by the GCSAA (Golf Course Superintendents Association of America). Recently, we learned that Bronson was diagnosed with bone cancer. It is with sadness and heavy hearts that Aldo and his family had to say goodbye to Bronson earlier this morning. Bronson was 8 1/2 years old.
Cross Country Tournament Cancelled
With more rain (and some snow) in the forecast and the temperatures dropping below 0* Friday & Saturday we are forced to cancel the Cross Country Tournament for the second year in a row. If you had already dropped off money for the event please stop by the Golf Shop to have your entry returned to you. We are working on some plans for next year, including a date change which should help have a better chance of avoiding mother nature’s wrath.

Please note with below 0* temperatures this weekend the Golf Course will be officially closed for the season starting Monday, November 12th. There are a number of projects planned both on & off the Golf Course during the off-season and we are excited to show you all the improvements early next year!
